Seun Kuti Interview - October 2007
Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela, talks about his debut album Many Things, released in October. Recorded with Shrine veterans Egypt 80 and produced by Martin Meissonnier [Khaled, King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti], Seun brings his own stamp to today’s funky sound of Lagos, saying ‘I want to make Afrobeat for my generation. Instead of ‘get up and fight,’ it’s going to be ‘get up and think’.
